Discussion with guest members regarding the furlough negotiations with Salem State University management occurred. Specifically discussed were the proposals for a memorandum of agreement of how these furloughs would occur in July as well as later in the calendar year, if needed.

- Negotiated memorandum of agreement (MOA) for July 19-25.
- Currently negotiating MOA for remaining furlough proposal.
- Negotiating counter-proposals to include fewer furlough days and waived fee on courses.

- Discussion: current compensation is based on the number of unit members at the individual campus within the following ranges:
- 0-100: $100/monthly
- 101-150: $125/monthly
- 151-200: $150/monthly
- 201-999: $175/monthly
- As the number of unit members can change month to month, should the membership coordinators stipend be lowered or raised each month if the membership fluctuates.
